# Mariachi Juvenil De San Diego

> Mariachi Juvenil de San Diego is a non-profit organization that was established by Serafin Paredes in 2001.  Some of the main goals were to have students further their musical knowledge, connect with their culture through mariachi music, and continue their college education.  The organization did this by providing music classes to students in the community and providing scholarships to graduating seniors to get them started in college.
