The San Diego Mariachi Conference started in 2004 by Serafin Paredes.  Throughout the years this conference has grown to include mariachi students from the United States and Mexico.  

These students come to learn from world renowned mariachi musicians.  At the conference these students are immersed in mariachi music; during the conference they spend up to 6 hours a day learning mariachi music, technique on their instrument, history about mariachi music, plus the students get to interact with some of the best mariachi musicians.
